YUTORI

Yutori is a DJ planning tool that helps DJs organize, discover, and prepare music seamlessly for performance.

The Setting

Professional DJs often have teams to manage music organization, prep, and analysis, while bedroom DJs like myself are left piecing things together manually with pencil and paper.

The Problem

Without integrated tools, DJs waste hours manually tracking BPM, key, and transitions across their libraries. This fragmented process slows creativity and makes building cohesive, performance ready sets unnecessarily difficult.

Yutori delivers a unified platform that empowers DJs to analyze, organize, and plan their music effortlessly.

the development

Yutori is built by combining Python (Librosa/Essentia) for accurate BPM and key detection with a Next.js frontend for a clean, interactive interface. Beyond core tags like BPM and key, Yutori leverages AI to enrich each track with five additional layers of context, from genre to energy to overall vibe.

THE SOLUTION

By lowering the barriers to entry, Yutori makes it effortless for both bedroom and professional DJs to move from discovery to performance with a single streamlined tool. The result is more inspired set design, smoother transitions, and performances that feel both polished and uniquely personal.
